Bloodstone has many attributes that cross over both the Fire and Earth elements. It carries green tones (Earth) and bursts of red as well (Fire). Known to ground and protect, but in addition bring vitality and courage to the bearer. Bloodstone works to calm the mind and enhance decision making. Its name was given centuries ago because it was thought to purify the blood and stop a wound’s bleeding.
